Forage nutrition Seeds

The Neolait answer to your seed requirements:

Neosyl TM maize seed

With a wide range for forage (very early to very late) Neolait offers a choice of varieties to meet each type of plot situation depending on the objectives set by the farmer.

NeograssTM Forage Seed

The planting choice for a pasture must make it possible to deal with 4 problems:

  • Period of use
  • Soil and climate context
  • Farming method (pasture or cutting)
  • Targeted production period.

With the Neograss™ mixtures Neolait provides its expertise to make the choice of the most suitable species for each terrain and for the wishes of farmers possible.

Feed the soil to care for your crops

Teravie™ biostimulants and precision fertilisers

Maize is a short cycle crop. Seed placement is determinant for the yield and development of the crops which will influence the result at harvest and the amount of forage available for the year. The microgranular Teravie™ Starter like Teravie™ Force 5, formulated with essential mineral elements and biostimulants, limits stress and growth stoppages at the start and plays a part in the optimisation of the technical and economical results for the crop.

Teravie™ Sol fertilisation supplements

Within a "reasoned fertilisation" scheme, which takes into account the richness and type of soils being worked, the Teravie™ Sol range makes it possible to provide supplements to the fertilisers used by the farmer. This provides high quality, complete, balanced fertilisation of forage and crops.

The least expensive fertilisers are those present or produced on the farm. In this context Neolait has developed stimulators for the biological life of the soil in order to optimise mineralisation of the farm's organic matter (soils and effluents) and to provide efficient, economical fertilisation for forage.

Silage, a mastered technique

 LithioxineTM silage additives

Silage is means of preserving forage in a humid approach. This preservation method requires optimisation of lactic fermentation, which allows acidification of the silo and stops undesirable fermentation, responsible for the breakdown of the nutrients contained in the forage.

Restarting of fermentation (aerobic) when the silo is reopened, due to the entry of air or existing air pockets, encourages the development of yeasts and moulds. This can be slowed by antifungal products combined with sufficient compacting and hermetic sealing of the silo.

With its Lithioxine™ range, Neolait offers chemical and/or biological additives which, depending on the type of forage (grass, leguminous plants, maize, hay), are capable of dealing with these two problems

Cover/Impermeable sealing of the silo

Minimum silo emptying to prevent heating of the front line must be 1.5 m per week in winter and 2.5 m per week in summer.
